Advanced Academic Programs

The percentage of students who are Identified as Accelerated. The exact numbers can be listed below the graph by selected the “Show Data Table” toggle. Learn More 

 

Assessing a student for placement in an Advanced Academic Program may include assessment of a student as accelerated, either whole grade or in a combination of one or more subjects:

  • Math

  • ELA

  • Science

  • Any single subject other than Math, ELA, or Science

  • Multiple subjects but not whole grade

  • Whole grade

Accelerated placement means the placement of a learner in an educational setting with curriculum that is usually reserved for learners who are older or in higher grades than the learner. Accelerated placement opportunities need not be limited to early entrance to kindergarten or first grade, acceleration in a single subject, and/or grade acceleration.
