Students interested in attending college can benefit from access to dual enrollment courses. Dual enrollment provides access to a wider range of rigorous courses, savings in time and money on a college degree, easier admission, and greater retention rates in college. Dual enrollment programs are particularly helpful for at-risk students, helping them transition to college following high school graduation.
Academic courses at Summit Hill Junior High School include 7th and 8th grade Math, Reading, Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, Physical Education and Health. Students have an option to take high school Spanish I during 7th and 8th grade or Encore which is a rotation of Action Lab, Art, Communications, and Music.
Spanish is offered for seventh and eighth grade students.
