Click on the buttons for Demographics and for Disabilities to see the distributions of students with IEPs.

To protect the privacy of students, no percentages are reported when there are fewer than 10 students in a group.

Each student who is found eligible for special education and related services receives an Individualized Education Program (IEP) that specifies supplemental services, accommodations, modifications, and supports to enable the student to be involved in, and make progress in, the general education curriculum. The state collects demographic information on all students, including racial and ethnic diversity. There are 14 disability areas, ranging from autism to visual impairment. Schools follow a process mandated by law in identifying students’ disabilities and then developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
